Korea: We remain on schedule for completion
Race organisers of the inaugural Korean Grand Prix have reiterated to GPUpdate.net that the brand-new Yeongam circuit will be ready on time ahead of the event on the penultimate weekend of October. The latest update follows Karun Chandhok's demonstration run for Red Bull Racing on Saturday.

Drivers pleased with 20-race setup
The majority of drivers have responded positively to the 20-race calendar which will mark the longest ever Formula 1 season next year. With governing body the FIA having published the first draft of the schedule – which will see the campaign stretch from from Bahrain to Brazil, including newcomers India – on Wednesday, the track action not finish until as late as 27 November.

McLaren to make f-duct decision after practice
World Champion Jenson Button has said that McLaren will wait until the conclusion of today's first three hours of practice at Monza before electing whether to run with its f-duct on-board this weekend. The Woking squad had said that it would not be using the tool in Italy although it has now decided to collect data at the venue before making a final call.

Todt: Not enough evidence to punish Ferrari
FIA President Jean Todt has explained that the Formula 1 governing body was not provided with sufficient evidence to confirm that Ferrari team orders were used in the German Grand Prix. Following the Italian team's World Motor Sport Council (WMSC) hearing in Paris on Wednesday, no further sanction was imposed on the Scuderia following its initial 100,000 dollar fine in July.

Ferrari 'takes note' of FIA's decision
Ferrari has acknowledged Formula 1 governing body the FIA's decision not to impose a further sanction following its Wednesday court hearing in Paris relating to the team orders row of July's German Grand Prix. Despite now wishing to focus its attentions on the upcoming home race at Monza, it does note that all teams will be discussing the team orders regulation.

The FIA has published a statement tonight following the World Motor Sport Council hearing in Paris today, which was convened to examine Ferrari’s use of illegal team orders at the German Grand Prix. No further action was taken.

Ferrari went before the FIA’s World Motor Sport Council (WMSC) in Paris today and despite what happened at the German Grand Prix back in July, when Felipe Massa yielded in order to allow team-mate Fernando Alonso through to take victory, the Scuderia has seemingly escaped further punishment.

Massa: Monza critical for Ferrari
Felipe Massa has said it is ‘obvious’ this weekend’s Italian Grand Prix at Monza will be an important one for the Scuderia as not only will they be out to shine on home turf, but they will also be out to claw back ground in the battle for the 2010 F1 titles.
