  • Re: Schumacher not really sorry at all?
What has this got to do with Schumacher's wife? This is a very deplorable statement. Keep it to racing and leave out tawdry comments like that..

  • Re: Austin Texas circuit layout
Over the years I've seen many pictures of Big Foot and the Loch Ness Monster, I still don't believe in either. While the design looks interesting, if and when it gets built, will it remain true to the original design? I see some Brazil and some Laguna Seca in the design as well. I don't take anything at face value when it comes to TPD being involved, even remotely.

  • : What i have noticed222
Monza should be interesting. This years Title battle is ever so exciting. I think Button has the most work to do because he never seems to be much good at qualifying.Hamilton has out qualified him 9-4. If Button is really serious about retaining his world crown then he has to start from the front row in at least 3 of the remaining six races. He is 35 points behind Hamilton and he more or less has to beat Hamilton in nearly every race till the season ends.Because Hamilton is 35 points clear he does not necessarily have to win every race. Button needs to win or finish second in nearly every race because he is so far behind Hamilton and Webber I just dont see that happening because Hamilton usually out qualifies Button by a fair margin I think the title is going to be between Hamilton,Webber and Vettal. I favor Hamilton because of his superior overtaking skills, and because of his consistency and determination

  • Re: Top man ...Wibber
mark webber certainly seems like a guy who knows what is right and when, well done mark and i hope that you can prompt the guys around you to dig deep.

  • well MOUSE
Im started to get worried if a little ill that MOUSE actually agrees with me.lol Let me tell you one thing about BUTTON. He will never ever win a championship again will he is in the same team as Lewis Hamilton. The reason i say this is because HAMILTON confortably OUTQUALIFIES BUTTON. The score is currently 9 -4 in Hamiltons favour. The difference beteen the two drivers is that BUTTON must have a perfect set up and a perfect car to win a grand prix. Hamilton can win with a not so perfect car and setup. I guess what im trying to say is that Hamilton can adjust more than Button , and also hamilton is more a street fighter type driver. He is bold and fearless and will take on and pass any driver in front of him Button is a bit more timid and calculating driver. Buttons victories this season were more based on making the right choice of type at the right time, and not really down to any outstanding driving ability. Button needs to change teams as he will never beat Hamilton, or for that matter Webber. Dx

  • Re: Belgian Grand Prix
I will agree with you on one point; that hamilton is driving the best HE HAS EVER DONE. If he keeps progressing then he may become as good as a lot of the others around at the moment.

  • The last 6 F1 RACES
Here is what i predict for the remaining races of the season. Monza-Mclaren- Doesnt really need an explanation, the Red Bulls will gain some time in the Lesmos and parabolica but its Mclaren dominance all the way, although i think Ferrari could challenge them this race. Singapore- Red Bull- they will dominate the constant turns and lack of straights here, Ferrari should get in between them and MClaren Suzuka- Red Bull- should dominate even more then they did at Singapore, the whole track is high speed corners, there are a few straighty bits Mclaren might be able to use the F-duct on but other then that... Korea- Red Bull- and unknown track but looking at the layout, the whole of sector 1 is straights, and the other sectors are low-medium speed corners, i dont think Red Bull will dominate but they should win, Mclaren and Ferrari will push them for it though. Brazil- Mclaren- A huge run up to the Senna S , its not curved enough for Mclaren not to be able to use their F-duct on and they should speed through that part, there is also the straight after turn 3, only one sector is squiggly. Abu Dhabi- Red Bull/Mclaren/Ferrari- this track literaly suits the characteristics of all three of these cars, for Red Bull there are plenty of corners and a few medium speed ones, for Mclaren, there are three significant straights, two are huge and one is the start straight, then the track is all parallel lines, i can see them winning this race comfortably to be honest, Ferrari are best under braking and theres a lot of it here, they also have a powerful engine and a decent F-duct system. I OBVIOUSLY HOPE IM WRONG ABOUT MY ANALYSIS BECAUSE I WANT MCLAREN AND LEWIS HAMILTON TO WIN

  • Re: Vettel the next Schumacher? Yes
..while I accept that Vettel is fast, and has talent, his overtaking of a failed start by webber, and taking advantage of an out-of-shape Kubica, are hardly the stuff of legends, so we move on to catching Button and trying a karting move in an F1 car, spectacular stuff, but with these machines that have such precision, a smoother hand is required, Button was unlucky, as was 'lonso, 'cos it is difficult to put a good color on Reubens move, as I'm sure he would be the first to admit that he dropped one, good job the ferrari tub is so strong!...back to vettel, he is starting to look desperate, maybe this is why we are seeing the mistakes of someone trying to rush things, christian needs to drop the cuddling, take him round the back of the motorhome, give him a quick cuff round the back of his head, and say...'get a grip you little sh it'...'time to support wibbers c'ship now'...

  • Re: Montreal Nascar Race
It was typical of a NASCAR 2nd level race which is exactly what it was. It's a lot like watching a GP2 race. All the races run there by NASCAR have been 2nd level races and they have all been like that, the inexperienced are completely lost on a road course and it becomes a demo derby. I really wish NASCAR would get the Cup Series up there, the top level, it's obvious the fans love it and the track puts on a good show. Much better than what F1 puts on there.

  • Final 6 races - who has the advantage per track?
I figured it's going to come down to a development race to determine who's going to be the next world champion. But the track layout is surely going to play a part. There are 6 races left and I'm still wondering who's team has the advantage over each track Italy - McLaren Singapore - Red Bull Japan - ??? Korea - ??? Brazil - ??? Abu Dhabi - ??? Are the remaining tracks (except Italy) going to play in Red Bull's favor? Need your opinion.

  • Re: Rubens' thinking
Quite liked DC's comment on BBC1 - initially amazed at the strength of the Ferrari that it actually survived the collision, DC commented something to the effect that they had Schumacher to thank for that due to the number of times he crash tested the Ferrari against other vehicles...

  • Re: Consistant being inconsistant
popcorn sid, is that what cyclists train on these days. lol

  • Re: Fuel
They don't qualify on race fuel levels. Simple as that.

  • Re: mad austrian prick.
    LOL @ danmiks daughter..

  • Re: FIA wing testing
looks like he's going to be behind yamamoto, so this could be funny.

  • Re: Top 5 2010 driver
The circuit should normally suit McLaren because of the fast bits, but I suppose it all depends on what the teams have managed to get working during the break when they were (allegedly) doing no development. OK so they don't have a wind tunnel at home, but a lot of the simulation software runs on computers which don't have to be in the factory. The weather will be mixed wet and dry and cold all weekend, so it could well be a lottery.

  • Re: Max is back
real adrian, in order to impose Teflonso a 5 sec penalty the FIA should first find a rule that the driver broke, since he hasn't broken any, yes I agree, you are bloody ridiculous.

  • Re: sooooooooo quiet here.
Hi Achilles, I love British touring car, in fact I love just about any serie on a road course, German and Australian touring cars, Rolex, ALMS, GrandAm, etc, will have me glued to the TV, however the coverage for these series is spotty at best. I try to catch as many as I can and try to remember to set the recorder for the ones I can't watch at the time, can't get any WRC coverage either. Same thing with Indy, the only ones I was able to see are the Indy 500, Watkins Glen and Toronto, the race in Edmonton, the week after Toronto was only shown on Versus (like the majority of the Indy races) which is not available through our cable supplier. Except for the road courses, I don't care for Indy racing that much, I'm no big fan of ovals (cars have steering wheels that turn both left and right) and with the demise of Champcars, Indy has lost a lot of its luster. Now if I was a NASCAR fan, well, I could overdose on the coverage, but again, about the only time I watch is when they race at Sonoma or Watkins Glen. While I have visited Talladega (but it was not on a race Week-end) and was suitably impressed by the high banks and enjoyed watching a NASCAR race live, in Phoenix, I'm really not much into ovals.
