Results of the British GP Heroes survey

Jim Clark turned out to be our ultimate British GP hero, thanks to his 5 home race wins and two driver’s championships. He came in just ahead of Jackie Stewart, with the pair finishing a country mile clear of Nigel Mansell who took the final place on the podium. There were a number of surprising results further down the order, with Welshman Tom Pryce finishing up in 9th place and Damon Hill amazingly failing to attract votes from any of the judges! Race Notes • Valtteri Bottas finished 12th, while Pastor Maldonado’s race ended early after an incident on lap 45. • Valtteri drove a solid race to get the most out of the FW35, finishing narrowly outside the points. • Pastor ended in the barrier after Max Chilton’s Marussia collided with him at Turn 12 which ended his race and caused the race to be red flagged.
